Size guide.
Finding the right fit shouldn't be a chore. Here are three ways to get it right — pick whichever is easiest for you.
1. Fastest — check what they already wear
Dasher uses standard UK kids' sizing — the same system most Indian kids' shoe brands already print inside the shoe or on the box (look for a number like "8" or "8K"). If you know what size your child currently wears in any brand, order the same number in Dasher.
Fit and last shape still vary slightly brand to brand, but the size number itself is a reliable starting point for almost every brand sold in India.
2. Shopping in a different sizing system?
If your child's current shoes are labelled in EU or US sizing instead, use the table below to convert.
| Dasher / UK Size | Foot Length | EU Size | US Size |
|---|---|---|---|
| 7K | 14.2 cm | 24 | 8C |
| 8K | 15.1 cm | 25 | 9C |
| 9K | 15.9 cm | 27 | 10C |
| 10K | 16.8 cm | 28 | 11C |
| 11K | 17.2 cm | 29 | 11.5C |
| 12K | 18.5 cm | 31 | 13C |
| 13K | 19.3 cm | 32 | 1Y |
| 1 Junior (UK) | 20.2 cm | 33 | 2Y |
Sourced from a professional kids' shoe-fitting conversion standard. Foot length is the most reliable column — EU/US labels can vary slightly by brand.
3. No reference shoe? Rough guide by age
If this is your child's first pair and you don't have a current shoe to check, here's a starting point — every child grows at a different pace, so treat this as approximate.
| Approx. Age | Typical Dasher Size |
|---|---|
| 2.5–3 yrs | 7K |
| 3–3.5 yrs | 8K |
| 3.5–4.5 yrs | 9K |
| 4.5–5 yrs | 10K |
| 5–6 yrs | 11K |
| 6–6.5 yrs | 12K |
| 6.5–7.5 yrs | 13K |
| 7.5–8 yrs | 1 Junior |

For the most accurate fit, or if none of the above feels certain enough:
- Have your child stand on a piece of paper. Mark heel to longest toe. Measure in cm.
- Match the measurement to the Foot Length column above.
This is the most precise method, but entirely optional — most parents get a confident answer from option 1 or 2 above without it.
